Backgrounds not showing on all screens on MTR system

Hello,

running Microsoft Teams Rooms 4.16.40.0 on Windows 10.0.19044.2846 on Lenovo T14 Gen2 Hardware on a Dual Screen setup.

I wanted to update the Background images of our MTR systems. After updating, the consoles design tab correctly shows the new background image, as expected.

Console shows: Entire image, left/right side, correctly shown

However, on the screens, only ONE side shows the background image, the other side shows a black background.

Please note, that its only a black BACKGROUND. The screen IS working correctly, you can see in the top left corner the time and the room name, so MTR does recognize the screen AND puts something on it. It's just the background thats missing.

Even more interesting: It's not the same side on all Screens. On one system we don't have the background on the left side, on another system (same hardware, different image), the left side doesn't show the background.

On a single screen setup, it doesnt show the background alltogether.

What I tried so far:

  • Reinstalling the backgrounds: Did not help.
  • Restarting the device: Did not help.
  • Switching sides: Did not help.
  • Choosing one of the predefined Backgrounds: This does show the background on the screens correctly. However, when going back to the custom background, it's the same problem again.
