I'm having issues with AD Sites and Services. Systems are attempting to query the wrong DC. I just setup this site up and tried a class B network. /16

Is it possible I'm doing it wrong? Am I only allowed to do class C?

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

You can add Class B subnet But before You need first create a new subnet on the appropriate AD site.

It is important to open the network flows for the new IP as well as the old one before changing the domain controller's IP address.

Before making the change, you should make sure that all clients can access your domain controllers through the new IP.
