MS Authenticator the Only Option

I have a user that is trying to log in to their email via Edge. The web site wants them to download an authenticator app which wont work with Windows. It doesn't give her the option of text verification like I use. No othe option is available. How can I get them logged in?

    Hello @Marc Tellevik ,

    when the "Protect your account" window appears at login and you are prompted to set up Microsoft Authenticator, you have the option to select "I want to choose a different method" in the bottom left corner. Here you can select a phone instead of the Authenticator app and then enter your mobile number. You will now receive the code via SMS on your phone.

    When we selected "I want to choose a different method" there was no option for authenticating by phone. Only "Use another Authenticator App" I called Microsoft help line and the Tech person walked me through the settings that needed to be changed in the Admin account. Kudos to the Tech person, she was very knowlwgable and helpful.
