After Windows updates, cannot log into local administrator account

Hello,

We have some laptops or new (imaged) laptops with local admin account once we checked and installed Windows updates. We cannot log into the administrator account. The user name is "Administrator".

This issue only happens in the last few weeks. Do you have the same issue? How come the Win updates could change the admin password? So I have to reset the admin password in order to use the admin account again. But all the admin account settings will be removed. Thanks.

Is it possible that the update disabled the local administrator account and therefore denied access to you? The local administrator account is disabled by default and could have been disabled as part of a security update. by changing the password, you're also re-enabling the local admin account.
