Dear All,

I'm trying upload to multiple sites and occasionally I cannot upload some.  It does not tell me why and the progress window cuts off the full file name so have no idea which one failed.

1.  Is there an admin report/log file that I can see ALL files that failed to upload to the sites?

2.  How can I get more detail as to WHY it failed other than "sorry there was a problem uploading this file" and cuts off the name so I have no idea WHY it failed.

  1. I'm the central Admin in Sharepoint on prem

    Hi @martinn tan ,

Unfortunately, we do not have a way to view logs for files that were not uploaded or had errors.

How do you upload files to multiple sites? Powershell or other methods? If it is convenient for you, maybe you can provide it to me, and I can help you see if there is a way to display the file path of the error when running.
