Azure regions available for Azure Virtual Machines under Free Trial subscription

Hi Team,

I have recently created Azure free trial account but was surprised to see that when I try to create a new virtual machine instance not all Azure Regions are presented in the dropdown menu. For example, in the US only East US, East US 2 and West US 3 are presented while I need US Central region. Is there a way to create a VM in other regions or it is not possible with my subscription plan?

Unfortunately, the Central US region is in high demand and may be unavailable due to capacity constraints.

In your case, I suggest reaching out to the Azure Subscription Management Team for region enablement by submitting a support request

Hi there,

I assume you have no Azure policies which restrict regions? Otherwise, I would go to your subscription, and then "Usage & Quotas", here you can filter to region and see what quotas you have on your account. It is possible to raise a capacity request in this portal (by clicking "request increase" on the right), however there may be restrictions as you have a free trial and also there could be capacity issues in the region you are after.

Try this, otherwise I would try another region closest which has sufficient capacity
