Hi,

Recently I noticed that one of the servers (Server 2019 Standard) gives me an error while I am trying to connect to second active session through Task manager on the same server. Please can someone help me to find a root cause or may be the place where to look for ?

Steps I done:

  1. Open Task Manager
  2. Go to User tab
  3. right click on active session and click Connect
  4. Small windows appears with next information : Unhandled error while connecting. #1329 This user isn't allowed to sign in to this computer.

I am domain admin and I can log in to this server, for all others servers this work without any problems.

    Hello Rustam,

Thank you for your question and for reaching out with your question today.

This ErrorCode is referring to local rights, the user needs to log on with local rights in order to be allowed access. Therefore the user login has been validated incorrectly.

In order to resolve this issue, you should check the following policies:

    GPO:

Computer Configuration -> Windows -> Security -> Local policies -> User right assignment -> Allow log on locally

    Local Policy:

Local policies -> User right assignment -> Allow log on locally
