Microsoft Identity Manager will be decommissioned soon?

I came across some information indicating that Microsoft may be planning to decommission one of their products, Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM 2016 R2, MIM 2016, or FIM 2010). I am wondering if this is true, and if so, what alternatives are available for on-premises Active Directory provisioning?

Microsoft Identity Manager

To complete the answer of risoli, MIM2016 has enter in the Extended support since Jan 12, 2021, and it should end on Jan 9, 2029.

It means that only security update will be provided on MIM2016: no more additional features :(

If you plan to stick with Microsoft to do your IAM and AD provisioning, you can use the new capabilities of Azure AD: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/app-provisioning/on-premises-application-provisioning-architecture

Overwise, you have third party vendors.

    BR,

    Sylvain
