There is nothing set in stone for .NET 7. Planning for cryptographic primitive support is still fluid. But we are open to the idea of expanding our Browser cryptographic API support to encompass the following algorithms.
- HMACSHA1
- HMACSHA256
- HMACSHA384
- HMACSHA512
- PBKDF2 (via
Rfc2898DeriveBytes) - AES-CBC
