In the New View of Outlook I cannot figure out how to resend an email

Where is the resend an email message button in the NEW OUTLOOK VIEW

At present, the "Resend this message" feat is only available in the classic version of Outlook. So, you can consider switching back to the classic version in order to use the Resend feature.

Or as an alternative, you can click "Reply All" or "Forward", and then delete the extra headers and other information that added to the subject.

I've just tried submitting this suggestion via the Feedback button in Outlook. You can also send the feedback from your end so that the product team can prioritize working on it.

Hi @Wendy Johnson ,

Why not? Why is this function missing from the new version when it was clearly available in the older version.

As far as I know, the new Outlook for Windows is still being improved over time, so at this point of time, you may notice that some old features haven't yet been implemented into the new version.

Regarding your concern of the Resend function, as mentioned earlier, I've tried submitting the suggestion via the Feedback portal. And I've also tried contacting the in-app support from within the New Outlook. According to the reply there, this has already been considered for a future release.

For now, if you really need to use this feature at present, as aforementioned, I'd recommend switching back to the classic version of Outlook using the toggle.
