Folders have disopeard from OneDrive

Question

I was working on OneDrive after lunch today 15/10/20 The screen blinked out and when it came back Folders from labeled A-B and some of C inclusive where no longer showing in OneDrive. There was no tracking data for them in any of the OneDrive notification areas! They are simply no longer there... all the other work that I was doing is recorded and anything that was delete is in the Recycle Bin as it should be! I can find no obvious explanation

The folders where in another account and they were shared with me. I am the Administrator for the company and so I have access to all the employee's OneDrive storage. I've check to see if they are still available from the original share but they are no longer there either??

Can you take a look and let me know what on earth has happened???

My account is chris@XXXXXXcrosoft.com and the share was from Naeem@XXXXXXosoft.com

Yes I did in fact find the missing folders ( all 150 of them) and I was able to restore them thank you... Never the less the fact remains that they were not deleted, nor were they moved and there's nothing in the transaction history to say how they ended up there...? It's left me feeling that I can't trust the software, not to mention the fact that the reinstated folders and files leave me with the same job I had already finished.... The additional problem has occurred because I couldn't find a way to just restore the missing folders/files and instead I had to restore all the work I had already done (not related to the missing folders....)? Perhaps I missed something and the restoration was the result of me not knowing the software well enough?

Anyway thank you for your help, much appreciated

Did the PC install antivirus software?
First I suggest you search all drives in PC and check if you can find the folder anywhere.
