Check the Run Registry keys to see if something put IE to run each time:
Internet Explorer 11 opens when Windows 10 starts
Hi All.
The Internet Explorer 11 automatically opens automatically when Windows 10 starts. I checked Task Manager and Settings. In both I didn't see Internet Explorer in the list. Just starting happening a few days ago. How to stop running IE automatically.
Thanks

Hi,What is the current version of your Windows 10 device?
You could try the method below:
Settings > Accounts > Sign-In Options
Scroll down to Privacy on the right and then set the following to OffIf that doesn't work, change the registry below:
reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System" /v DisableAutomaticRestartSignOn /t reg_dword /d 1 /fNote: Make sure that you back up the registry you modify it.
Hope above information can help you.
