Does editing directly in web form designer still work in Visual Studio 2022?

I just started to learn web designing on ASP.Net in Visual Basic. Apparently I can also type at the current cursor location to as static text to the web page" and vb .net in web forms designer based off a textbook I'm using from 2012. Does this still work? If not how can I easily edit in the web forms designer?
