I have changed some app (PDF X reader) default icon I installed in windows because the colors were too much bright. The icon app changed well, but every PDF file with this extension is still using the past icon. How could I change the default icon if this app has been installed using Windows Store and there is no a folder on the Files program? Do you know the regular path for apps like this so I can replace/change the icon?

Thanks.

     Hello @ Kati S

In the Properties window, click the "Change Icon" button. If the button is grayed out, it means the app does not allow you to change its associated file type icons.

This will only affect files of that type that are created or saved after the icon change is made. Existing files will retain their original icons until their file type association is changed or they are re-saved.
