how to fix 0xC004FD03 error activation Windows Server 2016 Standar

Question

Hi, I have a host Server: Windows Server 2016 Standar edition OEM__COA__NSLP channel

with one Virtual Machine with Windows Server Standar edition too.

I try to activate with AVMA, but I cant. appear 0xC004FD03

Then I try to activate with

**1.- slmgr /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx**

**2.- slmgr /ato**

with my host server KEY. now appear 0xC004C003.

my license in my physical host Windows Server 2016 Standar edition is Original, I just want to have my Virtual machine activate and original too.

can someone help me activate my virtual machine from my windows server host please?

Hi saúl vazquez,

The error code you are getting is access denied, is the Windows OS up2date? if not please update the OS 1st then try to activate again.

You can only use AVMA product keys for guests on a DataCenter host. When the host is Standard you just reuse the host product key for guest activation.
