email problem error says Your SWBT2 account settings are out of date FIX ACCOUNT Dismiss

Question

My main email account which is from Yahoo has always worked until last Friday 10-9. Then I started getting this message at the top saying the above...Your SWBT2 account settings are out of date .Learn more........space.......FIX ACCOUNT Dismiss . I have tried everything is says to do. Been through the things that Microsoft says through the learn more part. Have talked to ATT and they say it is a Microsoft problem. Went in and did all updates and it still isnt working. Today I went through Google and looked at Yahoo mail and it came up, but only a few messages, the rest were just grey highlited lines. HELLP SOMEONE PLEASE!!!!!

Also please identify the products you are using, where get the messages, when you get the messages. Adding non-specific details like "at the top" have no value unless you explicitly say at the top of what. Remember, those trying to help you have no idea what you are looking at and while it may seem obvious to you (because you're staring at it), that in no ways means anyone else will know what you are referring to without sufficient details.
