My cursor won't land in the "To" field in web based Outlook email server. I can't click into the To field which then won't allow me to type recipients name. This is the same in the CC field.

Started to happen four days ago. Have shut down and restarted the browser and computer. Also tried on different browsers with same result.

The Microsoft option will work, but it is a clunky bandaid. The issue is resolved by changing your browser.
For instance, this issue exists in Safari but not in Chrome.

    Hi @David Bravdica1 ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Please understand that actually the tag "outlook" is for general questions about the Outlook desktop client, so I am afraid little we can help regarding your question on the webmail.

By "web based Outlook email server", do you mean you are using an outlook.com personal account? If this is the case, you may have a look at the similar thread below in the outlook.com forum and see if the workaround provided there can help:
I am unable to type in the TO field when I compose a new email?
"open the draft e-mail in a new window using the 'open in new window' icon at the top right of the box - to the right of the trash icon"
