Hi, I am a Korean Excel user
I'll post a question about the Excel date format.
In the Excel date format, y is expressed as 'year', d is expressed as 'day', and m is expressed as 'month'.
But why do you have to express 'day of week' as 'a'??

I'll be waiting for your answer

    Hi @여승욱

    Welcome to Q&A forum ~

This is an interesting question, I tried toresearch it., but I didn't find any explanation from Microsoft for this. Thanks for your understanding.

Besides, I personally agree with Dillon Silzer's guess.

You can specify ddd to obtain a 3-character abbreviation of the weekday name
