SharePoint sites not loading (any browser), freezes device

Dear Community,

I'm trying to figure out a crippling issue that started plaguing some of my colleagues around 3 months ago.

When they connect to our internal SharePoint site, their browser freezes (this goes on for approx. 20 minutes), then the browser closes.

Problem is, that I can't reproduce the issue for myself and what's even worst is, that there's no error message that could help me to start an investigation.

Has anybody encountered this issue recently?

    Since we can't reproduce your situation, we need to narrow down the problem and try some things.

    1. How do they connect to your internal SharePoint site? Perhaps you can confirm the next steps with them in detail.
    2. Does this error happen to everyone but you?
    3. Try to use your browser's InPrivate mode to see if the same error occurs.
    4. Are other users with permissions facing the same problem? View through another computer or account.
