Here's a sample T-SQL command to grant this permission to a user:

USE master; GRANT VIEW ANY DEFINITION TO YourUserName;

Please note that this command needs to be executed by a user with sufficient permissions, such as a member of the sysadmin or securityadmin fixed server role.

Or for a specific database

This command must be run by a user with the necessary permissions, typically the db_owner or db_securityadmin database role.
