How do I check on the status of an Adaptive Scope in Compliance Centre

I have a small test tenant with 8 sharepoint sites and am in the process of setting up a retention policy.

So that I only set the policy to Sharepoint Sites only I need to setup and adaptive scope to return all sharepoint sites as there is no way to differentiate between office 365 group mailboxes and sites.

I setup the adaptive scope with a simple SPSiteURL starts with https://(tenant).sharepoint.com/, it's taken over 2 days to return 2 of the sites, the other 6 still are not listed.

Is there a way of checking on the status of an adaptive scopes initial setup?

SharePoint site collections has different types, including Team Site with an Office 365 Group, Communication Site and Team site without an Office 365 Group and so on.

This query: SPSiteURL starts with https://(tenant).sharepoint.com/ will not return Team Site with an Office 365 Group.

Please create a new Adaptive Scope with Microsoft 365 Groups type to return Team Site with an Office 365 Group.

The query in the Adaptive Scope returns the same results as the search query.
