Single domain computer cannot open a subfolder within a share

I have a domain computer (Win10) which cannot access a subfolder within a Share on a server (Server2016) when accessing through a mapped drive. The issue occurs for ANY user logged into that computer, including (as a test) a domain admin account.

The same users can access this folder from other computers without issue.

On the problem computer, users can access the share itself and other subfolders, this issue is only on this one subfolder.

I have tried removing and rejoining the domain, then when that didn't work removing, renaming and then rejoining the domain with a different PC name.

I have, on the server, checked the 'effective permissions' sections of the folder properties and according to that the specified user on the specified PC should have full access. Clearly that's correct otherwise it wouldn't be possible to access the folder when using the full path.

P.S. Disconnecting and remapping the network share works until the user logs out & in again, then it returns.

Check if there is a GPO settings remove any settings and also check Firewall and also the Antivirus on the Win10 system, try to eliminate all the options one by one.
