Azure Purview validation error

Question

How can I resolve this error when I attempt to create a Purview account?

Validation failed with error: The template deployment 'Microsoft.PurviewAccount-xxxx-yyyy' is not valid according to the validation procedure. The tracking id is 'xxx'. See inner errors for details. Detailed error(s): 23003 - Please register/re-register subscription <subscription> with Microsoft.Purview resource provider.

The error message indicates that your Azure subscription needs to be registered with the Microsoft.Purview resource provider. Here are the steps to register the resource provider:

Open the Azure portal and navigate to the Subscriptions page.

Select the subscription that you want to register with the Microsoft.Purview resource provider.

Click on the Resource providers link in the left-hand menu.

Search for "Microsoft.Purview" in the list of resource providers.

If the status of the Microsoft.Purview resource provider is "Not Registered", click on the Register button to register it.

Wait for the registration process to complete. This may take a few minutes.

Once the registration is complete, try creating the Purview account again.

Note: Before you create any service in Azure, first we should make sure whether the resource provider is registered in your subscription.
