I know there are already post about the pin thing, however in almost all of the "fixes" you have to be able to sign in to your account. I have changed my password to it and made sure I am spelling it correctly. I can log into the account from other devices as well. However when I type it into my desktop with this Pin issue, It says password is incorrect. Any recommendations that don't include resetting it? or is that my only option.

Are you using Microsoft Account or Local Account?
Are you able to switch between PIN and Password?
Do you have any other account in the PC?
Im using a microsoft account to log in, it is not connected to the cloud though. I can switch between pin and password but it says I need to download an app for the option to work. When i click that It puts me back at the windows login screen with the time and background. I only used the one account on the computer.
Would you mind elaborate more on why it is not connect to cloud?
When you use Microsoft Account, it will use cloud.
Do you have any problem connecting to internet?
You need to internet to get the update for the latest password.
What app is it asking you to update?
I disconnected it from the cloud because my laptop and computer would link and change the layout of both of them, adding new files and downloads to both. I didn't want that so I took it off the cloud. Its connected to the internet via ethernet as well.

Try using the virtual keyboard.

For most of these I have to put in my password. I've changed it so I know im putting it in correctly, however it doesnt take it. As for the regedit one it just says keep waiting for like 10 minutes before restarting again.
