What is related between Azure Security Benchmark and the ASC Default.

We have ASC default initiative on every subscription under the tenant, on defender we have Azure cloud security benchmark.

What is related between Azure Security Benchmark and the ASC Default? are they Same or different?

Please share some document or explanation which provide the relation in between.

    I believe they are the same. If you look in the compliance section you can see the benchmark displayed in more detail. Most if not all of the secure score impacting recommendations are based on the benchmark.
