It appears sharing videos in Teams almost worked well for a week. They failed to display inline like it should, but at least we could click in mysterious videos in Teams and they's show up, annoyingly full screen. Today they reverted back to requiring 2FA (when we're already logged in) and sends us to a Stream link as if this is an important video kept for posterity.
All shared videos in Teams should play inline, it's also the easiest to develop for. Why is this so difficult? Is it because you didn't realize you have clients who's business isn't exclusively using Excel and Word?
I say "mysterious videos" because for some reason MS obfuscates the content by not showing anything at all, just a generic icon. It's pretty insulting to the discipline of UX, but then again MS has no UX methodologies internally except "product feedback" which of course is the opposite of how UX research works.

Do you mean the admin has enabled two-step authentication?
No I mean it was possible to click on a shared video and play it inside teams without leaving teams. It had this clunky UI and filled up the by e whole frame, but it definitely worked. It doesn’t do that anymore and it’s back to needing to leave teams and login to a web-based account and open Stream, which is a terrible workflow for discussing video edits.
This has nothing to do with authentication and everything to do with Teams being developed before it’s designed.
My assumption is we should not be using MS products for discussing video edits, but we are stuck with MS and struggle daily because we are not accountants doing accounting and you never designed for what we do.
Like this whole assumption I need to do 2FA 8957 times a day is really a weird conceptual problem for "single sign on" because SSO implies the number 1, not 8957. Anyone who can count knows that. Why is MS the only company who doesn't understand the basic and literal concept of SSO?

I determined this is working as designed. I can't believe how bad of a product Teams is, sheesh.
It's true, because we're so inefficient and using a communication toolkit wildly inappropriate for our business, we require patience. Tons of it.
