Hello @taya taya !
I understand that your Test Update settings are causing some restarts on Active Hours which is not desired
For such a problem you may need to check these :
- Ensure that the machines have installed all the available updates. In some cases, pending updates might be causing the reboots. Manually check for updates and verify that there are no pending installations.
- Are there any failed or partially installed updates that might trigger a reboot ? If there are failed updates, try to install them manually or troubleshoot the specific update errors.
- (SOS) If your organization utilizes Group Policy for managing Windows updates, review the relevant policies that control the update behavior. Ensure that the policies are correctly configured and not conflicting with the desired Active Hours settings. Adjust the policies if necessary to align with the intended behavior.
- Check the Windows Event Viewer logs for any relevant events related to Windows Update or system reboots.
- Utilize the built-in Windows Update Troubleshooter to automatically detect and resolve common issues related to Windows updates. Run the troubleshooter on the affected machines and follow any recommended actions it suggests.
