How to recover Microsoft Authenticator on Android Go

I previously used Microsoft Authenticator on my old phone, which has Android.

I installed Microsoft Authenticator on my new phone, which has Android Go.

I used the Recover function to restore all my 2FA accounts onto the new phone.

I still have access to my old phone.

Microsoft Authenticator on the new phone told me I needed to set a PIN on my phone. So I did.

However, my Microsoft email's 2FA then said "Action Required: Set up phone sign-in to finish recovering this account".

When I press that, it says "Your screen lock has changed. To Keep your account secure, you'll need to set up phone sign-in again."

When I press "Re-enable phone sign-in", it says "setting up your account" and then "this feature is not supported on this device".

But I already have the PIN set on my phone.

So how can I finish recovering this account? I don't want to use the old phone anymore.
