This link mentions that:

"On June 15, 2023, Intune will stop enforcing online and offline Microsoft Store for Business and Education apps on devices. Downloaded applications remain on the device with limited support. Users may still be able to access the app from their device, but the app won't be managed. Existing synced Intune app objects remain to allow admins to view the apps that had been synced and their assignments. Additionally, you'll not be able to sync apps via the Microsoft Graph API syncMicrosoftStoreForBusinessApps and related API properties will display stale data."

...does this mean that 'Required' assignments of these apps in Intune (via company portal) will no longer auto-install the app (which is how i read it)...or are MS referring to assignments within MSfB (via store app) will no longer auto-install?

Thanks.

@dridley Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

After June 15, 2023, "required" assignments of these apps in intune will still auto-install. However, after September 15, 2023, these apps will be removed from intune admin center.

So, to avoid any impact by the retirement of the Microsoft Store for Business and Education, it is still suggested to deploy these apps via other method (such as Microsoft Store (new) app type) as soon as possible.

    Hope it will clarify something.
