Where are the tasks in the New Outlook?

I flag my emails for follow up and assign categories. They were listed in a task tab that I could sort by date or by category. When trying the "New Outlook" I can't find the tasks anymore. Where are they and how can I see a list of my flagged emails?

I have encountered the same issue which is a real pain for me as I rely heavily on Tasks as a way to get items into Microsoft To Do from Outlook, this includes both flagged emails and the ability drag and drop appointments onto Tasks. I really hope this gets addressed or that an alternative is suggested.

I like that Tasks can be a separate window popout, but it must be integrated with Email ( background data) and Calendar ( due date). I need to be able to quickly create a task from an email and link the two for details. To be honest Outlook has the potential to tie all my work activities together like a log, why would you miss this opportunity to create the killer app?

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but you can also only connect to ONE 365 To Do account.
I have 5 365 email mailboxes in 5 tenancies that I manage using a single outlook profile. However only one connection to To DO can be made within the desktop outlook Client.

Even the new version of Teams lets you connect multiple microsoft accounts now.
Even the stand alone To Do has LOST this ability.

Why is the most used 365 Application going backwards??

Welcome to our forum!

Unfortunately, the Task feature in New Outlook for Windows is very different from the Legacy Outlook. I'm afraid you need to turn off New Outlook button to switch back to Legacy Outlook to meet your current needs.

To get this feature more quickly, I have found a feedback on the website dedicated to collecting feedback and you could vote for it. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. You can also make suggestions on that website and hope Microsoft will notice this in the future.

When you say different, do you mean gone? The button that is supposed to be there does not exist. Is this a bug or are tasks gone for good?

As usual, Microsoft fixed something that was not broken! Not sure where their corporate head is but I sure would like to have a talk with them.
