Hi,

We have 2 SharePoint farms (both SharePoint 2019), one is production farm and other is DR farm. Both farms have same web application names and their content databases are shared via SQL "Always On" Availability group.

We want to patch our farms with latest CU. Do we need to follow same procedure for CU update as we used to follow for single farm patching or do we need to take care of additional things in this case.

We have taken downtime widow for this process, so downtime is acceptable.

Currently both farms are at same CU level.

Thanks.

You just need to follow steps same as before to install CU on each server.

    1.Download the SharePoint Cumulative Updates.

    2.Backup SharePoint farm and configurations.

3.Install the Cumulative Updates in the SharePoint farm.

    4.Run SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard.
