I use the built-in remote desktop of windows 11

When using the local account, you can connect remotely, assuming the account is: usertest

However, when the local account logs in to the Microsoft account (assume the account is: laass@outlook.com), no matter whether it is the local account usertest or the Microsoft account laass@outlook.com, it cannot remotely log in, and the verification will always be displayed.

May I ask where it needs to be set before using the remote login?

    Yes

I can use remote desktop login when I use local account.

But when my local account is enabled with a Microsoft account, the remote desktop will fail to authenticate (regardless of whether I use a local account or a Microsoft account).

But after I log out of the Microsoft account, I can use the remote desktop normally.

Ps: The local account is used when installing the system.

    Hello @Anchun Li

When log into different account, our user profiles are different. When we log into our Microsoft account, our user profile is linked to Microsoft account which can be synced across multiple devices. when logging in with a local account means that our user profile is local to that specific computer and not synchronized across devices.

Besides are you using VPN? are there any group polices deployed?
