Hi, we are having problems in accessing filer path among the versions of Windows 10. The 1709 version can access the server path while versions 1909 - 22H2 cannot write on the server. Double checked the server settings and it does have the full access on the server.

Our guess is that the update of 1909 - 22H2 security feature caused the said problem. Can someone help us to resolve the issue? Thank you

    Hello!

If you're having trouble accessing the server path on Windows 10 versions 1909 to 22H2, it could be because of a security feature or configuration change in the later versions. Here are some things you can try to fix the problem:

    1. Check your network connectivity and make sure there are no issues with it. Check if you can ping the server IP address from the affected machines and verify that there are no network-related issues.
    2. Review your firewall and antivirus settings to ensure they're not blocking communication with the server.
    3. Verify that file sharing is enabled on both the server and your Windows 10 machines, and that the right users have access rights.
    4. Check if the Server Message Block (SMB) protocol is enabled on your machines. Make sure that it's the right version for your server and network environment.
    5. Update your network drivers to ensure they're compatible and up-to-date.
    6. Review your Group Policy settings to ensure that they're not causing conflicts.
    7. Check your network discovery settings to make sure they're turned on.

    Hope this helps!

Hi, I have encountered the same problem as mentioned in above. Is there any answer to item #6 as to what specific Group Policy do we need to check? Can someone help advise on this? Thanks in advance.
