@Anonymous I see that you have an interesting ask about retrieving Azure VM backup cost for all VMs, Subscription, Vaults into excel. Currently, you can pull vault-level costs into excel.

Go to "Cost management + Billing" tab-> Cost Analysis -> Download

But we are working on feature to pull VM level costs as well. However, we do not have a definite timeline to share it publicly.

Why restore point collection resources not having the tag like it's parent VM. Tag should inherit from VM to it's restore point collection.

Azure Backup provides a reporting solution that uses Azure Monitor logs and Azure workbooks. These resources help you get rich insights on your backups across your entire backup estate.

You can also export to excel the reports

Set up one or more Log Analytics workspaces to store your Backup reporting data. The location and subscription where this Log Analytics workspace can be created is independent of the location and subscription where your vaults exist.

To set up a Log Analytics workspace, see Create a Log Analytics workspace in the Azure portal.
