SQL server management studio installation error

Hello,

We download the SQL server management studio from Microsoft website, but when we try to install in Win11 system , it always loading packages, please wait...We have wait for days, still this screen, could you help to solve, thank you

You can probably check the steps below to start with.

Check system requirements: Ensure that your Windows 11 system meets the minimum requirements for installing SSMS. Make sure you have the necessary operating system version and required dependencies. You can find from here

Run the installer as an administrator: Right-click on the SSMS installer and select "Run as administrator." This will ensure that the installation process has the necessary permissions to complete successfully.

Download the installer again: It's possible that the downloaded installer file may be corrupted. Try downloading the SSMS installer again from here Microsoft site.

Check if there are any antivirus software on your machine.

Please have a check that if you have installed software like McAfee and other anti-malware in your machine.

Temporarily disable any antivirus software and firewall, re-download for a try.

Could you try to install SSMS 18 from here:

download SQL Server Management Studio 18
