Query execution request failed. Dataset not found. Error in IotCentral Devices

Hi,

since this afternoon I can no longer access my devices in Iot Central!

i always receive the folowing error for each device:

Query execution request failed. Dataset not found.

Error code: 404.046.002.002 / s62nvvl4sy.6

device templates and groups are ok.

What's wrong?

Hi @GuidoL Greetings! May I know which location you application is hosted at? The error message displayed does not tell us much about the issue. I appreciate it if you can test the API Rest API end point https://appsubdomain.azureiotcentral.com/api/devices?api-version=2022-10-31-preview1 through Postman and see if you notice any additional error details in the returned result.

The API needs Bearer Access token for authentication and you can get the required token using the following commands from Azure CLI

az login az account get-access-token --resource https://apps.azureiotcentral.com

Please refer the resource Explore IoT Central API to get more details on how to test the end point. I will also be checking with the team internally for additional details.

i tryed as suggested to run the following put using postman

https://management.azure.com/subscriptions/{{subscriptionId}}/resourceGroups/{{resourceGroupName}}/providers/Microsoft.IoTCentral/iotApps/{{applicationName}}?api-version={{controlPlaneGA}}&=

and i recevied the following error:

but in my west Europe tenant i have only a resource group whose name is RfidSmartLibraryDigitalTwins-rgp.

Look at the following snapshot:

Now i obtain the same error "Query execution request failed. Dataset not found" and can't use any IoT devices!

Please help to restore services because in this situation I can no longer continue to develop my project.

I am available for any clarification and all the necessary tests.

Can you test the following Rest API end point https://{{subdomain}}.azureiotcentral.com/api/devices?api-version=2022-07-31 and let me know the error message you see. Please replace {{subdomain}} with your application subdomain name which can be found from the URL of your IoT Central application.
