SAP Table Connector - How to pass parameters to an SAP Custom Function Module

SAP Custom Function Modules broadly take two categories of input parameter data,

Variable data
Embedded table data

Using Copy Data Activity, could anyone please shed light on how these two types of parameter data could be passed as an input to an SAP Custom Function Module.

I'm not familiar with SAP environment and its configuration. But is your ask is how to parameterize below parameters?

If yes, then you can use dynamic expression to pass the parameter value during copy activity runtime.

As mentioned in above image, Query_Table is mapped at SAP Table dataset level.

In case if misunderstood your ask, please help clarify so that we can assist accordingly.

Firstly, thanks a lot for the detailed example and the clear screenshots that helped understand the parameterization concept.

My question is more focused towards passing parameters to an SAP Function Module (aka, SAP BAPI).

What I hope I know,

The name of the SAP function module has to be provided in Custom function module configuration of the Copy Activity.

What I do not know,

As SAP Table connection linked service mandates to mention a Table, what should be provided as a Table in the Dataset. Because the main intention is to call the SAP BAPI Custom function with parameters, but not to read the data from a single SAP table.

Where to pass parameters to the SAP Custom BAPI Custom function:

Should I leverage the configuration field RFC table options to pass the parameters.

Last but not least, is SAP Table Connector + Copy Data Activity is even the right cocktail to achieve an SAP Custom BAPI Function call.

Following is an example function module that takes scalar inputs (IV_OPERAND_1, IV_OPERATION, IV_OPERAND_2) to perform simple math operation.

I hope to pass these parameters with the help of RFC table options like IV_OPERAND_1 = 5 AND IV_OPERATION = '+' AND IV_OPERAND_2 = 5
