How do I make my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller work on this Windows 10 installation again?

Ever since I received that one blue screen error once, my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller does not get recognized by my programs anymore. Windows itself can recognize my controller, but programs like Steam for example, cannot recognize my Pro Controller anymore even though it used to recognize it before the blue screen error. I've tried many things like restarting Windows, connecting the controller over USB instead of bluetooth, uninstalling 3rd party controller drivers like ViGem Bus and HIDGuardian, reinstalling the 3rd party drivers then uninstalling them again and uninstalling every driver related to the controller itself. All the solutions that I tried made no difference. Heck even "sfc /scannow" and "DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" didn't fix the issue. I've also looked at the restore points and it sadly doesn't have a restore point of the state of the PC BEFORE the blue screen happened. I've ran out of solutions I could think of, so does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix this issue? And no, reinstalling Windows 10 is not an option for me, since I'm not the owner of this PC, and I would get in trouble for doing a reinstall. And no, the controller itself is not the issue, I've tried this controller in macOS on that same PC that has that problem and programs can detect the Pro controller just fine there.

    Hello there,

Update your drivers and BIOS/UEFI firmware from PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on the sticker. Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start button. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.
