Hi Team, there was an issue with my Microsoft authenticator APP . I just done a reset of the application and lost the accounts added to it.

In this case I'm unable to signing to my Azure portal, I had tried all sorts of troubleshooting but it was not working and I was unable to raise any kind of service request as well .Its asking for owner or admin users can only create a service request and Im not a member in any other tenants . So kind of stuck with the issue .
Kindly Suggest a way how to proceed and interact with Microsoft support in this case .
I'm Pretty much sure revoke multi factor authentication sessions for the user will be the desired fix for the issue but i was not able to proceed with that approach as well .since Microsoft 365 also im not able to access.

@Bharath G Thank you for reaching out to us, As you mentioned you experienced issue with Authenticator App and performed a reset due to which you are unable to login to the Azure portal.

In order to get access to the portal/sign in do you have any other Global admin in your tenant who can reset the MFA on your account or there is a newer feature called Temporary Access Pass (TAP) which is available as well: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/authentication/howto-authentication-temporary-access-pass.

While it is not an exact 1-to-1 of one-time bypass it offers similar functionality but more secure as it requires that the user utilizes a temporary passcode to get past MFA.

Also, have you tried these steps - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/back-up-and-recover-account-credentials-in-the-authenticator-app-bb939936-7a8d-4e88-bc43-49bc1a700a40 back up and recover account credentials in the authenticator app.

if the above suggestions doesnt help, then you have to contact support - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 and work with data protection team to get your account recovered.

Let me know if you have any further questions, feel free to post back.
