I have a single processor with 24 cores. Do I need a 24 core license for windows 2022 server?
I've had issues with Windows 11 and thought I would try Windows Server 2022 Standard. Running the evaluation version now. Much more stable and I would like to stay with it, but confused on the license needed.
My Dell 8950 has a I9 processor with 24 cores. So..... What's the licenese needed? Can I use a 16 core license?
This server is home use and runs a single app (24x7) with one VDI.
Google was not much help......
Thanks for the help.
