Remove Physical Server from Azure site recovery vault

I ran a free trial with Azure site recovery for my local on-site server running Windows Server 2022.

The local HyperV server was configured on Azure site recovery. The trial expired a few months back.

I did not get around to upgrading to a paid account until today.

I had to create a new resource account and proceeded to setup site recovery for my on premise HyperV server.

The old recovery vault is not present on my account. However, when I try to configure the Recovery on my server it says I must unregister it from the old trial vault first.

How can I delete this connection to the old obsolete vault?

Thanks for any help.

    Hi Patrick,

It seems the resource must be locked and it can be deleted from backend by MS resource can you raise a ticket via the portal - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-ca/support/create-ticket/
