Error Code 0X0 when logging in to Word & Microsoft 365 Apps on Mac

I'm using an Institutional account with a subscription to Microsoft 365 Desktop apps. When I try to login to Word, I get Error Code 0x0 and became unable to edit documents (ie view only).

I have tried uninstalling 365 fully, reinstalling, reverted to older versions of the app, cleared Keychain, etc. Nothing has worked.

Some people in my institution have had the same issue. Seeking advice.

    Hello @TANG,

please proceed as described here and remove the Office license file on your Mac. Then restart your Mac and reinstall the Microsoft 365 desktop applications. If you are prompted to sign in, please sign in with your Microsoft 365 account. After that, the applications should be licensed again.
