AZURE AD DISABLE Security default for Disable MFA

Hi, here is the issue I am facing.

One of my clients is not ready to enable MFA as required by Microsoft.

(I am aware that this option is necessary to properly secure O365 tools.)

While exploring Azure AD, I found this option.

Security defaults -> Disable

Although it is not recommended, can you confirm that by disabling this option, I will no longer receive MFA enrollment prompts and that I will not be affected in the future?

    Correct, if you disable this and SSPR Registration, you will not receive MFA prompts.

    No quarantee however that Microsoft wont force it on your tenant in the future.
