W11 PRO single app (non windows app) Kiosk Mode

hi you all,

i need help to set up a w11 pro single app kiosk mode.

im using windows configuration wizard (adk) and works perfectly with w11 Enterprise but no with w11 pro i have to use, w11 pro logs into a black screen.

i tried this, i tried same software from ms store, i tried a powershell script (launcherv1) and always the same result.

please, i need some help,

Try check the event viewer and see if there is any error logged there.

What app is being loaded in the Kiosk mode?

Is there anything in event viewer?

I would suggest you to use proc mon to identify if there is nothing on the event viewer.

Try updating the graphic card driver for the device.

User account control (UAC) must be turned on to enable kiosk mode.

Kiosk mode is not supported over a remote desktop connection. Your kiosk users must sign in on the physical device that is set up as a kiosk. Apps that run in kiosk mode cannot use copy and paste.

Hi, I dont know why but does not work with pro release. Pro release only works with Windows apps not with any application, this cases ends in black screen (not running Explorer not app). The solution was to change directly the app i want to run in kiosk Mode from registry shell value in winlogon key and a powershell to review if app is running ir order to make the "restart_shell".
