Each Windows operating system has supported CPU.

    .

These are the supported Intel CPU for Windows 11:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors

    .

Most computers that run Windows 10 can run Windows 11 in a supported or unsupported fashion.

This includes desktops, laptops, and tablets.

    .

When upgrading in the unsupported fashion the computer user may not benefit from the improvements in performance, reliability, and security.

    .

    .

If you choose to upgrade in an unsupported fashion make sure that you make free backup images so that you can always return to Windows 10.

    .

There is a default 10 day go back period that can be modified to 60 days.

However the go back feature could fail.
