Hi im trying to restore a database from azure blob storage where the storage account is set to public .
now im trying to restore using database restore wizard in gui im selecting url and adding the blob storage account by signing in to azure with my account which has full access and it is auto generating url and key and im able to see the .bak file in the ssms selecting it and adding it. but when trying to restore the database from blob it is throwing an error.

Can you check whether the port is open from the SQL Server Managed Instance, check your NSG rules so that it can access Blob storage. Also only T-SQL commands are accepted way to restore a .bak file from Azure Blob Storage.

Select * from sys.dm_database_encryption_keys
