    Hi,

I'd be happy to help you out with your question. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

To upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10, you can use the Media Creation Tool. The Media Creation Tool is a free download from Microsoft that allows you to create a bootable USB drive or DVD with the Windows 10 installation files.

Once you have downloaded the Media Creation Tool, follow these steps to upgrade to Windows 10:

    1. Run the Media Creation Tool.
    2. Accept the terms of the license agreement.
    3. Select "Upgrade this PC now".
    4. Select "Keep personal files and apps".
    5. Click "Install".

The upgrade process will take a few hours to complete. Once the upgrade is complete, you will have a new copy of Windows 10 installed on your computer.

Does it cost anything to upgrade to Windows 10?

The upgrade to Windows 10 was free for a limited time, but that offer has since expired. However, if you already have a valid Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 license, you can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free. To do this, you will need to use the Media Creation Tool and select "Upgrade this PC now".

If you do not have a valid Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 license, you will need to purchase a new copy of Windows 10. The cost of Windows 10 varies depending on the edition you choose.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when upgrading to Windows 10:

    • Make sure you have a backup of your important files before you start the upgrade process.
    • The upgrade process may take a few hours to complete.
    • After the upgrade is complete, you may need to reinstall some of your programs.
    • You may need to update your drivers after the upgrade is complete.
