Windows 10 Home, current build, 22H2

I replaced the old OS drive that failed and rebuilt WIndows10 home on new drive and it is activated.

OS disk is 500 GB with 50 GB used. When I try to create system image on 1TB USB drive I get:

System image fail

What is wrong and how do I correct it?

I tried VSSadmin and delete one of 2 shadows but get this:

    VSS Shadow issue

The OS was built on a brand new & not used 500GB SSD. How did a shadow copy from another system get here & how can I remove it?
