I have an issue with Outlook 2016 not syncing to one of the SharePoint 2016 calendar.

Error on Outlook:

"Task SharePoint reported error (0x80004005): Outlook cannot connect to the SharePoint List (xyz Home Page - Calendar). The server may not be reachable from your location.

I removed the SharePoint calendar from Outlook and added it back again via SharePoint. It adds the calendar but not syncing and getting the Send/receive error. I am the site collection administrator on this site.

I don’t have issues with adding a different calendar in a different Sharepoint Collection, but for this calendar, all my team members have also issues with this.

Outlook

I am the Site collection admin of the particular site, but I just saw that I have the Read over here in the, not sure is this because of this reason, Not sure how I can make this as Write (In Outlook, click File > Account Settings, in Account Settings page, click Data Files tab, select SharePoint Lists)

    Hi @Priji John ,

I can't reproduce your situation. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, Please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.

1.Please confirm whether the sharepoint List exists?

2.Please check the steps to remove the SharePoint calendar from Outlook:

    • Select File, and then select Account Settings.
    • Select Account Settings, and then select SharePoint Lists.
    • In the Account Settings dialog box, double-click the SharePoint list for which you received the error.
    • Clear the check on Display this list on other computers with the account: and then select OK.
    • Make sure that the SharePoint list for which you received the error is still selected, and then select Remove.
    • Close the Account Settings dialog box.

3.Please confirm that the Calendar liat name and path to be synchronized are correct.
