It looks like the image you mentioned was not posted correctly. Secondly, according to your description, this is usually caused by the browser settings.
Please check this:
Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to edge://settings/clearBrowsingDataOnClose
, and then check that you have any options checked, which will cause the data stored in that section to be cleared when Edge is closed. Something like this:
Make sure both of these are off and that should fix your problem.
